Public Comment Procedure

For all Dyersburg City School Board of Education Business Meetings, there shall be a public comment period for all actionable items on the agenda. The total comment period shall be for no more than 30 minutes with each speaker having no more than (3) minutes. If an individual wishes to address the Board, he/she shall sign up on the form provided before the beginning of the board meeting to request time to speak. Delegations shall select only one (1) individual to speak on their behalf. This is intended to be a public comment policy and not a question-and-answer time. All comments should be directed to the chairman.
