Trojans of the Week for March 15, 2019

    6th Grade

Team 6C's Trojan of the Week is Jeremy! Jeremy comes to school each day with a smile on his face and brings so much joy to our team. He is always willing to help out his teachers and peers without being asked, and he has the best attitude when asked to complete any task. Jeremy has also been showing grit and a good work ethic this 9 weeks, and we have really noticed the hard work he is putting forth each day. We love the respect he has for everyone by showing kindness and how he always chooses to do the right thing. Jeremy, we know you can do great things with your positive attitude and by working hard. We are so proud of you!!

    7th Grade

Leadership is defined as someone who gives guidance, direction, or has influence over those around them. In 7B our Trojan of the Week this week is a young man who selflessly gives guidance to his peers when he sees them needing help, without having to be asked. He is someone who not only gives directions when asked or called upon to, but also is good at receiving directions and instructions from his teachers and coaches on the baseball team. Jack has left an impression on his teammates and teachers this year with his positive influence on those around him. His kind demeanor makes him a bright spot on our team. Jack strives to do his best work and it is evident in his Honor Roll recognition and meeting his AR/AM goals. His motives are never self-seeking. Jack is a great friend and student. He tries his best to lift every one up around him. 7B is so proud to have Jack on our team and we know we he will accomplish a magnitude of things in his future.

    8th Grade

8B is proud to recognize an outstanding young lady as Trojan of the Week. She is very well rounded and very involved at DMS. In addition to being an excellent student, she participates in Track and she is a valuable member of the Beta Club, Student Council, and the DMS Choir. She truly exemplifies all the best aspects of a DMS Trojan. Congratulations to Ameriyah. We are very proud of you.
